Skogstad & Wærnes is an Oslo-based design studio founded by Norwegian designers Petter Skogstad and Fredrik Wærnes.

Both born in 1985, Skogstad and Wærnes have known each other since studying product design at Oslo Metropolitan University and ECAL. After graduating they worked for ten years designing products at Anderssen & Voll, Andreas Engesvik and Snøhetta, collaborating with leading brands worldwide. In 2020, recognising the synergy of their skills and experience, they united to establish their own studio.

Their design ethos is rooted in honesty and thoughtfulness, guided by the intricacies and responsibility of creating new products. The studio’s portfolio spans a diverse array of disciplines, with a particular passion for furniture, lighting, and objects.
